Every repair begins with a full inspection. Visible damage is only part of the story, so we look at mounting points, brackets, absorbers and adjacent panels before writing a plan.
Modern vehicles are built to absorb impact energy in specific ways. A bumper cover that looks like it just needs paint may be hiding a cracked absorber, a bent reinforcement bar or damaged sensor brackets. Repairing only what you can see leaves the vehicle looking finished while the underlying structure is still compromised.

Do I have to use the body shop my insurance company recommends?
No. In Connecticut you have the right to choose the shop that repairs your vehicle. A recommended shop is a suggestion, not a requirement. Once you tell your carrier which shop you have chosen, the claim can be processed there.
How long does collision repair take?
It depends on the damage, parts availability and how quickly the claim is approved. Light cosmetic work can be a few days. Repairs involving structural work, back-ordered parts or supplement approvals take longer. We give you a realistic timeline after teardown, not before.
Will the new paint match the rest of my car?
Paint is mixed using your vehicle's factory color code and then adjusted for age and fade. The new finish is blended into adjacent panels rather than stopped at a hard edge, which is what makes a repair blend in under daylight.
What is a supplement?
A supplement is additional damage found after the initial estimate, usually once the damaged area is taken apart. We photograph it, document it and submit it to the carrier for approval so the full repair is covered rather than skipped.
Can you help if my car is not drivable?
Yes. Call the shop before the vehicle is moved. We help coordinate towing so it comes directly to us instead of sitting in a storage lot accruing fees.
Do you work on newer vehicles with sensors and cameras?
Yes. Bumpers, mirrors and windshields on newer vehicles often house parking sensors, radar and camera modules. These are accounted for in the repair plan so components are reinstalled correctly rather than left disconnected.
